Advantages[ | ]
- The swiss army knife of melee weapons, the Halberd has Attack combinations for Cleaving through Hordes, for precision poking at long range, and for heavy anti-Armour damage.
- This weapon's long range can be ideal for more vulnerable careers like the Huntsman, allowing you to safely engage in melee combat from behind a dedicated tank character.
- This weapon's long range is very helpful against Beastmen hordes, who can outrange melee attacks from other weapons.
Disadvantages[ | ]
- Ideal combos vs. hordes, armoured elites and Monsters mix Light, Heavy and Push Attacks in various ways, which makes this weapon comparatively hard to use.
- Low overall mobility, low Stagger values, slow cleaving attacks and limited horizontal attack arcs can leave you especially vulnerable if surrounded. The Mercenary's career skill can mitigate this weakness.
