As you complete Missions you will acquire Experience and level up your heroes. You will also be receiving chests which can be opened to obtain Equipment. By equipping new items you can raise your Hero Power and unlock increased difficulties.
Levelling Heroes[edit | edit source]
At the end of a Mission, players gain experience for the character they played. The amount of XP depends on the difficulty, how much of the map was completed, the number of players alive, and the number of tomes and grimoires collected.
Levelling a hero unlocks new careers for that hero. It is not necessary to level each career individually. The maximum level for each hero is Level 30.
Careers[edit | edit source]
The first career of each hero is already available at Level 1. To access the remaining two, the hero needs to gain experience and reach Level 7 and Level 12.
Talents[edit | edit source]
A new tier of Talents is unlocked every 5 Levels; at 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25. Each tier grants 3 talents, however, only one talent from each tier can be active at a time. Players can switch talents any time they are in the keep.
Hero Power[edit | edit source]
Keep Evolution[edit | edit source]
Each hero has their own bunk that can be found in the main chamber of the keep. When a hero reaches Level 10, the character's belongings are removed from this room and are placed in their own room.

Crafting[edit | edit source]
A character periodically gains the ability to craft specific weapons after levelling up.
