HELDENHAMMER TIME[ | ]

Legend: Have the statue of Sigmar kill 3 Chaos Warriors on Righteous Stand

Legit Strategy[ | ]

For this challenge to succeed, the players need to lure at least three Chaos Warriors to the final event and keep them there without killing them until event ends and the Hammer blows all enemies up. Apart from the obvious ability to kite Chaos Warriors, one needs to find enough Chaos Warriors:

  • There are always one or two Chaos Warriors guarding the temple doors in front of the Temple of Sigmar.
  • If the area is invested with Rotbloods (and not Skaven), one or two Chaos Warriors are also often found in the meadow just before the stairs leading to the temple or on the last part of the wall (after the second Grimoire).
  • Both spots mentioned above are also places a Patrol can spawn, which have Chaos Warriors if it's a Rotblood patrol.

Kiting the Chaos Warriors:

  • Consider bringing an Ironbreaker, as he can kite the Chaos Warriors with his Active Ability and can easily tank a couple of hits with his Passive, additionally to having enough stamina to block most hits of a Chaos Warrior. Another option is the Battle Wizard, which can have 100% block cost reduction.
  • Otherwise, consider careers with greater dodge-distance, such as the Slayer and the Handmaiden / Shade.
  • One can easily kite the Chaos Warriors by walking up the stairs on both sides of the temple and jumping down again. The Chaos Warriors will follow but won't be able to keep up.
  • Avoid using hard-hitting ranged weaponry when dealing with the mobs around the Chaos Warriors, the Handgun for example is able to kill Chaos Warriors in a few hits, even on Legend.

Cheesy Patrol Strategy[ | ]

Unknown to most players, the blast of the Hammer of Sigmar actually clears the whole map of enemies. This means that enemies left outside the temple when the event started that have not de-spawned also get killed. It is possible to cheese this challenge by avoiding a Chaos patrol close to the temple and quickly activate the finale. As long as the patrol did not have time to de-spawn, the blast kills the whole patrol and the challenge succeeds. Keep in mind that trying this strategy may take several times, as:

  • The patrol needs to be Rotblood and needs to spawn either in the meadow before the temple or on the last part of the wall.
  • The patrol needs to be successfully avoided.
  • The patrol can't de-spawn, and there is no way to check this once inside the temple.
  • The group still needs to survive the event every time they try this.
