General Playstyle[ | ]

As a Range based utility career, Bounty Hunter should always put Special killing as your first priority, then focus on Elites. However, due to your Career’s feature and Melee Weapon choice, you should not hesitate to join the melee fight and give your safe position to other pure range careers when it’s necessary. When there is a Monster on the field, and you are using Level 30 talent Double-shotted, focus on it as soon as possible. If you are using a build with other talent, clear the roaming mobs around your range DPS, help other melee career deal with Specials, and then start damaging the monster.

Recommended melee weapon choice[ | ]

Weapons with good horde clear and good defensibility work better on Bounty Hunter.

Your Level 10 talent Weight of Fire gives you good range power for breakpoints. Level 20 talent Prize Bounty gives you the best Ammo regen without melee attacks.

Prioritize killing Elites/Specials first. Then melee the rest.

Description:[ | ]

With the Volley Crossbow build, your non-crit arrows can one-shot bodyshot all Gutter Runner and Horde Mobs. The rest of the Infantry and Specials need two arrows and Armoured Specials will need three. Your crit arrows can one shot-bodyshot all Infantry Specials and a Packmaster, and one alt-fire volley shot kill Armoured Specials and most Elites, except for Chaos Warriors.

You are also able to one-shot bodyshot all Horde Mobs with non-crit arrows.

Your Level 10 talent Weight of Fire gives you good range power for breakpoints. Level 20 talent Inspired Shot gives you consistent crit shots when you need them.

Prioritize killing Elites/Specials first. Try to melee kill a low health unit to get generated crit before shooting Elites. Then spam your arrows to clean lined-up Horde Mobs. Switch to melee to kill Horde Mobs when they get close.

Description:[ | ]

With Repeater Pistol build, your non-crit left click can two shot-bodyshot Gutter Runner, three shot-bodyshot rest of Infantry Specials, four shot-bodyshot Armoured Special and Packmaster. Your crit alt-fire shot can one shot-bodyshot Special and Elites at close range, including Chaos Warrior.

Your Level 10 talent Open Wounds boosts both your range and melee damage. Level 20 talent Prize Bounty gives you the luxury to run Hunter on range weapon to increase your overall damage.

Only use alt-fire shot when you have guaranteed crit. Use it to kill Elites or shoot at Horde Mobs to give you Hunter to boost your melee damage. But you should never hesitate to shoot specials with left click.

Crossbow build[ | ]

https://www.ranaldsgift.com/11/212232/32,1,3,6/20,6,3,7/3,2,5/3,6,2/3,2,2

Description:[ | ]

With the Crossbow build, your non-critical Crossbow bolts can kill all Skaven specials and elites with one bodyshot. Your critical bolts can kill all other faction specials and elites except Chaos Warriors in a single bodyshot.

Your Open Wounds talent at level 10 boosts your overall damage on critical strikes, while Cruel Fortune at level 20 cuts Blessed Shot's cooldown into almost half. Job Well Done at level 25 grants you stacking damage negation per Special and Elite killed up to 30%. As a mission goes on, Bounty Hunter will grow increasingly stronger against enemy attacks while keeping his damage intact.

With Scrounger, a critical shot on the Crossbow will refund two bolts, offering the ability to self-sustain Bounty Hunter's ammunition if paying attention to Blessed Shot timings.

The ability to swiftly kill Specials and Elites, in addition to earning Job Well Done stacks, means your top priority should be to pick them off as they come. Bounty Hunter comes with increased reload speed - so don't be afraid to double tap a Special or Elite if Blessed Shot is on cooldown.
