There are three types of Downloadable Content (DLC) in Vermintide 2: Campaigns, Cosmetics, and Careers.

Campaigns[ | ]

A campaign includes new Missions to play with a new story following up on the original game. In addition, these DLC's unlock extra Challenges, Quests and Cosmetics. The player can only start a DLC mission session if they own the appropriate DLC.

Shadows over Bögenhafen[ | ]

The first DLC for Vermintide 2 is Shadows over Bögenhafen, released on 28 August 2018. The campaign revolves around the Blightreaper and its effect on the town of Bögenhafen where it is hidden away.

Back to Ubersreik[ | ]

The second DLC for Vermintide 2 is Back to Ubersreik, released on 10 December 2018. In it, the heroes return to Ubersreik. The DLC contains three remastered missions of Vermintide 1 with a new story. Owners of the DLC unlock an additional Weapon for each Hero once the relevant hero has completed the campaign.

Winds of Magic[ | ]

The third DLC for Vermintide 2 is Winds of Magic, released on 13 August 2019. Owners of the DLC unlock another additional weapon for each hero once the relevant hero has completed the campaign.

The Curse of Drachenfels[ | ]

The first free update for Vermintide 2 is The Curse of Drachenfels. Chapter one released on 23 January 2020, chapter two on 19 February 2020, and chapter three on 24 March 2020.

The Chaos Wastes[ | ]

The second free update for Vermintide 2 is The Chaos Wastes with an optional Forgotten Relics Weapons DLC launching alongside it on 20 April 2021.

A Treacherous Adventure[ | ]

The third free update for Vermintide 2 is A Treacherous Adventure. The first mission released on 8 November 2022 and the second mission on 28 March 2023.

Karak Azgaraz[ | ]

The fourth free update for Vermintide 2 will be Karak Azgaraz. It is planned to release on 13 June 2023.

Premium Careers[ | ]

Premium Careers are careers that can be purchased for real money, and are not unlockable through gameplay. These new careers have been added after launch as new premium content, usually with a free content or balance update.

Grail Knight[ | ]

The Grail Knight Career is a premium career for Markus Kruber. The Grail Knight was announced on 12 June 2020, and was released on 23 June 2020.

Outcast Engineer[ | ]

The Outcast Engineer Career is a premium career for Bardin Gorekkson. The Outcast Engineer was announced on 17 November 2020, and was released on 19 November 2020.

Sister of the Thorn[ | ]

The Sister of the Thorn Career is a premium career for Kerillian. The Sister of the Thorn was both announced and released on 3 June 2021.

Warrior Priest of Sigmar[ | ]

The Warrior Priest of Sigmar Career is a premium career for Victor Saltzpyre. The Warrior Priest of Sigmar was both announced and released on 10 December 2021.

Necromancer[ | ]

The Necromancer Career is a premium career for Sienna Fuegonasus. The Necromancer was announced on 23 August 2023, and was released on 19 October 2023.

Cosmetics[ | ]

Cosmetic DLC's unlock various cosmetics for the players account.

Collector's Edition Upgrade[ | ]

The Collector's Edition Upgrade includes a Portrait Frame, 'Helmgart Heraldry' themed Hero Skins, a decoration in Taal's Horn Keep (Statue of Sigmar) and an exclusive Heroic Deed. Additionally, the buyer receives the official soundtrack and wallpapers of Vermintide 2, plus digital maps of Helmgart. The Collector's Edition Upgrade was released together with the game on 8 March 2018. The Collector's Edition includes this DLC.

Premium Hats[ | ]

There are premium hats available to purchase for real money. As of 18 June 2020, there are 15 premium hats available for purchase, and one exclusive hat for charity that is no longer available for purchase. You can see a list of hats (both free and paid) Here.

Premium Career Cosmetics[ | ]

All premium careers have associated Cosmetic Upgrades that add various cosmetics for each.

These are available for purchase, either separately from the careers, or in a bundle.
