The charged attack will create a small explosion when the arrow hits the target, doing additional initial damage as well as additional damage over time (roughly 70% of the regular damage over time). The explosion damage goes through armour if the charged arrow is a direct hit on the Armoured target, which becomes poisoned for 110% of the regular poison damage. An explosive arrow can poison several unarmoured targets if fired on the ground.
