A level-headed defence and precisely-timed counter-attacks are key to surviving his assault. | speaker = Fatshark Studios }}Savages are a type of [[Chaos]] [[Infantry]], and also part of the [[Marauder]] group. Sometimes called "Frothers" by the Heroes, Savages are brutes that carry dual hand axes. They attack quickly with a leaping charge and a barrage of blows. Savages don't wear armor or much clothing, instead showing their naked, tattoo-covered torsos. ==Strategy== * Once they start swinging it it best to keep your block up until they finish their combo, as they deal high damage and don't leave enough space for you to strike back between blows. * Savages have increased stagger resistance during their flurry of attacks (comparable to the [[Monster]] class), it is however possible to knock them back before they barrage you. * They are highly susceptible to a quick head shot when they charge at you, since they won't bother at all to protect their head and will simply run at you with open arms. * Due to their raw damage output, dealing with Savages should be prioritized over dealing with accompanying [[Maulers]]. ==Notes== The term "Frother", used by the Heroes to alert the others of Savages, probably derives from the expression "to froth from the mouth", which can mean "being very angry or raging".
